Twitter is in focus this afternoon after Elon Musk made the announcement that can only be described as one of the most anticipated ones for this year.
On Thursday, the billionaire confirmed in a tweet that he has finally hired a new CEO for the social platform that he wants to turn into a super app called “X”.
Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter.
He is yet to announce the name of the new chief executive but from his tweet that it’s a woman. Musk also confirmed that he will serve as the executive chairman and CTO of Twitter once she joins in six weeks.
